Oh No!!! Not Another New Bangle

Yes siree!!!! Still busy with jewellery, I've come up with another design, I love this scruffy wire design. Its name; Goddess ~ Bangles and Ear Hoops.

Green Goddess Bangle

Made for my Mum's WI Christmas Raffle, hope the new owner will love it, this one was made using silver-plate wire and coated green wire.

Autumn Sunshine Bangle and Ear Hoops

Isnt it bright ~ I do love bright, burnt oranges, it just makes you smile, don't it!!!! 80))

Copper wire and clear coated copper wire too.

The ear hoops are the same basic shape I made for my friend Susie for her birthday back in May and my Bronzite set too. They are really easy to wear and are also fun, large and funky!!!!!

Hope to have some bead pictures done later on today, its a bit of a battle this week to get piccies done as Hubster has been off work this week and is working in/on the kitchen extension (YYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!) thats where I generally do my pictures, its not fantastic (lightwise!) but its the best I've got in the house. When its done and at the very least has white walls I do hope my pictures just might improve, but in the meantime I will just have to put up with it!

Now then!! Photos or Pictures!!!

I am so very naughty, yet again I havent done what I said I would do, show you some beads in a few days!! I have been dealing with family committments this week and I just havent got any photos done, weather has been bad on and off all week. Then Saturday which turned out to be a lovely sunny day and would have been great for a photo shoot, but I had promised Miss B (Darling Daughter of mine) I would take her to the cinema to see the new Pixar film 'UP' as I didnt get to take her through the half-term hols due to me not being well and the break-in, so thats what we did! Only she also conned me into taking her friends too!! Their Mums didnt want to take them and so I agreed they could come, just so long as they paid for themselves, it wasnt her Birthday again, you know!! 80))

So with 4 12yr olds in tow off to Milton Keynes we went. It was a fun film a bit sad in places, great story and some really funny scenes, especially the dog Doug 'SQUIRREL'!!! If you've seen it you'll know exactly what I mean! ;0))

Right, back to the photos again, with any luck I will get chance to take some later on today, (yes I am still up, not got to bed yet!) definitely more jewellery ready to show and a few beads for your delectations!!! Been playing with some Double Helix silver glasses, oooooooo yummy!!! Biggest problem though is they are not annealled yet and I am now worried that the kiln will burn out the colours I have created in them, so bare in mind when you see them they havent been cooked! And lets hope they stay that way, fingers crossed!

Guess later is exactly what I meant!! Ho ho!!!!

Ekhotastic

These have the new DH glass Ekho, it is a silver reactive glass and dont it look gorgeous!! Lets hope the kiln fairies are in a gooooooood mood this evening as they are cooking as I type!! They are fairly difficult to capture but I think you can see the lovely colours in the bands and splodges, yum yum!!!

These are more DH glasses, the top three are the new Aurae (left 2) and Ekho again on the right and the bottom one is Triton everybodies favourite as it is one of the easiest to get colours out of, Aurae has a kind of coppery look to it but I nearly over did that one so I am not holding out much hope for its survival in the kiln. We'll see!!!

Last but not least the new Cool colours from Effetre

These arent all of them, there are quite a few others and I have a few more too that I havent tried yet. So from the bottom right the nugget bead has the new fossil (dark) with Silvered Ivory Stringer (SIS) running through it, the brown one I cant remember the name of at present but that also has Ivory glass with SIS running through it.

Along the top the bright transparent blue one is Laguna with some white dotties in, what a gorgeously bright colour, you cant really tell from the photo but this colour just seems to glisten inside. The pair next to it are Tea Green very delicate and pale ~ lovely.

The purple one isnt a Cool colour its from Reichenbach and is called Violet Gold which I did add some goldstone stringer to to add some sparkle, its not showing up in this photo but I may well be making more of those!!

I hope it was worth the wait and fingers crossed they make it out of the kiln looking just the same as they went in!! 80))

New Jewellery!! Hurray!!!!!

Well lets shrug off last week, gone, done and dusted!!!!!

But no new beads because I didnt get into my workshop, decided to stay away and get over it!!!!!

YES I'm back, I'm fine and feeling much better, Halloween is over too, so time to concentrate on Christmas which will soon be upon us!!

NEW JEWELLERY at last I hear you cry, well I think thats what your crying!!!!!!!!! (rolling eyes! Tee hee hee!!)

New Bangle design coming up ~ called ORBITAL BANGLE

Au Naturale Bangle

It does look similar to my Tangled Knot Bangle but there is a difference with the wire wrapping which is not as tightly bound and has this looped look which reminded me of the Trajectory of the Moon Orbiting the Earth!! OOOOOOOOwwwwwwww!!! Don't I sound posh!!!! Well I thought it sounded good anyway!!

Made using brass wire and ceramic beads this will be added to my shops very soon.

Now this set has been made intirely for ME!!

BRONZITE

I have a number of new tops which all seem to have brown in them or are brown so I thought I would make something to wear with them. So another Orbital Bangle using Bronze wire and Bronzite gemstones with a few sparkly swarovski crystals to boot!!!

Aaaaaaaaand my new Earring Hoops

They don't actually have a name as yet so I will just call them Ear Hoops for now as they are shaped like an EAR!!!! Still working out if the wire gauge needs to be a bit thicker so when I have 'test drived' them I will let you know the outcome!!! If they can withstand my treatment they can withstand any!!! Hee hee!!!

So these won't be for sale but I will be making more and I want to make a wirework necklace to match the Bronzite set as well. I do have some others on the go at the moment so when they are finished I will give you a lookie and let you know when they are listed in my shops too!!

The torch got lit today (oh yesterday sorry, not gone to bed yet!!) so you never know I may have some beads to show you in a few days, they will need to be annealled first as I didnt put the kiln on as I knew I would be watching House (cant miss it!) ~ hoping for a finished set, Yay!! Working on Christmassy beads too, for the coming party season, we'll see how that goes!!! 80))

Aweful Week!!

I'm sorry to say I had just an aweful week last week!! I just didnt come on-line or even go near the PC since Friday morning!! As most of you probably know I didnt feel very well at all last week and then Friday I really picked up and was feeling much better. Went off to work and on the way back decided to pop into my local shops to pick up a few things, including a pumpkin ready for Halloween this week!! I got a phone call from my friend and neighbour Eve to say come home quickly, your garage has just been broken into AGAIN!!!!!!

Yes again, 3 months ago the garage door was practically ripped off the runners and the burglars were scared off because we have an alarm fitted to the garage (MY WORKSHOP INCLUDED), they didnt get chance to take anything that time, thank goodness!! Alarm did the trick!!!! The insurance got the door and frame fixed and now we've got to go through it all again. They have wrecked the door again with 4 bolts (on back and front of door) with 2 heavyduty padlocks just ripped from the door, they were able to get Hubbie's cordless drills but did drop a few other boxes as the alarm went off again and scared them off. Another neighbour saw them as they were leaving and my friend Eve saw them driving off. He got the number plate and a few details but when the Police arrived and run it through their computer it came up blank!!

I was really upset by it this time as they did get inside the garage and possibly had chance to see into my workshop, which has a connecting door!! This has really freaked me out and I cant find the courage to go and work in there yet, I am feeling better today (Sunday) but yesterday I just felt numb still and it has really affected me this time. Its all the what ifs and maybe's that I seem to be dwelling on. The fact that it has happened again at around 2pm, the middle of the day, has got to me the most as I can be working in there around this sort of time after I finish work, had my lunch and go out and torch during the afternoon!! I know they have done it because the car wasnt on the drive but still its still freaking me out just thinking about it.

I love my little workshop space and now I feel they have violated it even though they couldn't/didn't enter it. I am so pleased the alarm worked again to scare them off, and now I have got to pluck the courage up to go and work out there and feel safe in my own mind. I can lock myself in but I do suffer with a little claustrophobia so find it difficult to lock myself into such a small room so I dont know what I am going to do for now, as I really do want to get back to my torch this week, as its half term and I am of course off work and free to do some nice long sessions out there busily beavering away in my little domain!!!

HO HUM!!!! GOT TO GET BRAVE AND GET OUT THERE, HOPEFULLY TOMORROW!!!

My first Treasury!!!
